    That's a very good question, I just read on the org that puffins had been seen at Lybster, so I kept popping up to Duncansby until I saw one.

    I just looked on the RSPB site and apparently they're here until mid August.

    sorry to say this. but found a dead puffin at achastle fishery on thursday afternoon.it was the first one i had ever seen ..pitty...for the wrong reason...
