just wondered if anyone had experience of local stonemasons -need to start thinking about Dad's headstone and haven't experienced either Mr Hood or Mr Macdonald -does anyone have any experience or advice.

We used Hoods two years ago for the purchase and erection of a stone at Thurso cemetry. Their service was first class, and they even provided two photographs of the completed stone in situ for two elderly relatives not fit to see the finished result. This was a lovely touch. Bill was not as expensive as first expected and the job was done before the planned timescale. Would have no hesitation to recommend them again. We even had planned what else would need to go on the stone in the future to make sure there was room for everyone to be mentioned.
