    Default Nest platforms

IT was nice to see that the electricity people in southern Spain went to the trouble of putting nesting platforms on the pylons.
I wonder if it would work with the wind turbines in Caithness ?

It's also amazing the large amount of bird kills there are in the south of Spain, caused by the many thousands of windmills placed right on the main Raptor migration route between Africa and Europe! You can see these monstrosities on every hilltop around Tarifa in Andalucia.

They are not attractive are they.
These ones at Tarifa on the way back from Gibralta are the old type. I think the Caithness ones are better to look at.[img=http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/4669/010285ra2.th.jpg]
