    Default Caithness.Org Book?

Do you think we should try and set up a "Best of" or "Annual" Caithness.org...book?

I am into Self Publishing and it would be really easy and pretty cheap...obviously depending on just how many pages it is....

Any thoughts on this idea?? Has anyone got a handle on all the good threads that have been through out the year???

You could have a competition to design the cover or photo from somewhere local...

    Cheers

    James

    Default a Book.

‘A book !’ is that what you said ?
The thought just fills me with dread,
    I haven’t the skill
    Nor the words to fulfill
So I’ll sit here and practise instead.

On the Org with my friends it’s such fun
Rhyming lines and hoping they’ll run
    To a rhythm and pace
    With style and with grace
But I’m never quite happy when done !!

Im on another forum who do this. Its a fans forum and they actually present the person with the book on a yearly basis, they just (as you suggested) take the best p bits and put them together.

just as well he has a sense of humour, most of it is "photo caption" posts about him!

    Dear Trinkie your right
It gave me such a fright
    and Nightmares too
    It has to be said
    A Ditty or Two
    A Rhyme for us too
    but it is just to
    Share with a Few

On e org I do scribble
    maybe sometimes just a dribble
some may partake to a notion
    or something trigger that emotion

    E Boards today do contribute
    to the story a referendum
    for Scotlands Glory
I think Not we do say
we are part of the UK

I will walk a weary Mile
    to remain The British Isle
I may not have a sole on my shoe
to see the back of Salmon too

My dear friend I don't mean to take ye to task
But may I be so bold to ask
    A poet I'm not,which is a pity
Cos my literature skills will always be a ditty

    I'm a dittiest,not a poet
For all on here they should know it
Words and letters is all I show
    Does it rhyme,aye sometimes no

    A Haiku,is involved with rule
As I once learnt when once at school
But a haiku shouldnae cause ye no stress
When I get ma brain score on the Nintendo DS

I'm not gonnae write a book
If ye all might I'll take a look
I'm Monty Python with a Dead Parrot
I'm Cedric in the Land of the Carrot
