I have to give most of the credit to the folk group Peter, Paul and Mary for my version, which is very close to their "Where Have All The Flowers Gone?". That song was written by Pete Seeger in the early 60s.

Where have all the Orgers gone, long time passing?
Where have all the Orgers gone, long time ago?
Where have all the Orgers gone?
    Perhaps they're posting somewhere else
    Oh, won't they please return?
    Oh, won't they please return?

What made them leave, in the first place,
    Don't they like us anymore?
Were we too boring for their taste?
    Or did I snore?
Oh, won't they try to forgive?
Oh, won't they try to forgive?

Frequent posters of the past, we miss you daily
Frequent posters of the past, we need you now
    Frequent posters of the past
Come back here and have a blast
    We miss your presence here!
    We miss your presence here!
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!

    Default Where have ?

    Moving on, moving on
    They’re just moving on.
Had enough of all org stuff
    They’re just moving on.

    Some need to change
    Find another range
    Of topics to discuss.
    We find it strange
    To dis-arrange
Our habits – what a fuss.

    But let them go
    And let them know
We miss them all so much
    They’re welcome here
    We hold them dear,
    We need their gentle touch.

    In days gone by
    How oft we’d sigh
    At words so freely given
    Now that they’re gone
    It’s dry as bone
So hard we all have striven.

    Our thoughts we send
    To you, dear friend,
    Please come back one day.
    Here- take my hand
    And this Org Band
    A welcome tune will play.

    When you come home
    No more to roam
    A party we will hold
    A welcome warm
    Free from harm
Please come in from the cold !

    Moving on, moving on.......................

    I've often found
    the hallowed Org ground
    can sometimes feel stagnated
    I take a rest
    come back afresh
and start where I did lefted

Thanks for that link, James. I hadn't heard of Writers' Dock before.

So your dad is a 2K poet? That's quite a feat! Do you write poems also, in addition to writing books?

    Sporran,

I am not much of a poet, but in the start of my second changelings book I had to attempt to write a prophecy...lol ...sort of a poem...

    The Changeling Prophecy

    When Netherworld’s Children are
    Scattered and Scorched.

When a Maiden Wields an Angelic Sword
    with a Dragon’s bite.

    When Shadows Creep
    with Evil Intent.

    When Bloody Revenge
    Rises from the depths.

    When Raziel’s Legacy is Sought
    and Found.

    When the Threshold is Crossed
    and Conquered.

    When Shapeless Ghosts
    are Made Solid.

    When Frozen Tears
    Form a Bridge.

The Changelings will Fly from Darkhaven
    and Banish the Darkness.

    Cheers
    James

The miracle is not to fly in the air,
or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth.
