    I just spotted my first bee of the year so maybe spring is here after all

    Saw one a couple of days ago in my garden down here Unicorn - was surprised - but maybe I shouldn't have been (not knowing the habits of bees).

    Mrs G found the biggest Bumble Bee, I have ever seen for a long time last week in our kitchen, how it got there I have no idea, but as usual I had to rescue the poor wee thing and let it escape before Mrs G flattened it.

    the bees (honey) have been on the move since some weeks. Hopefully there will be some honey this year.

    yeah seen lots of honey bees about in the gardens around wick but not seen a bumble bee. Or maybe i have missed them.
