    Default Fox

I had a close encounter with this fox on the cliffs last Summer, but he was away before i could get my camera unpacked.
Then during the Winter i saw it's trail through the snow in the same area.
So i knew he hunted in that cliff area.
At this time of year Fulmars will be high on the menu because they nest high on the cliff face where the fox can reach them.
Today i was a bit quicker with the camera and manage a few shot as he made his way toward the cliff edge.
Most farmers would probably like to be a lot quicker with the shotgun.

    Beautiful photos Colin.

Nice to see a fox shot with a camera and not with a gun.

living in wick town i was quite suprised to see that foxes have become urbanised even up here. We have a regular visit from a fox most nights and its always a pleasure to see it.
