    Default HORNE/CAMPBELL

I have been knocking my head against this brick wall for a number of decades now....
My GG-Grandmother was Johanna Campbell HORNE supposedly born 28 August 1821, near Wick, Caithness. She married John HISLOP in Edinburgh in 1846.

Documents reveal that her parents were John HORNE and Mary CAMPBELL.

Her death certificate confirms that her father John HORNE was an Officer of the East India Company.

I have searched the OPRs and cannot find anything that resembles the 'birth' of Johanna Campbell HORNE or the marriage of her parents.

Would be eternally grateful for any help I can get!! Be it on Johanna or her parents

Not sure if this is of any help but we have a John Horne who married a Catherine Campbell. I know John was born 1834 and died 1917. My research is fairly new and have about 8 children. If this of help let me know.
