Smoo Cave Hotel, Durness

Stopped in here last night on the way back from a photographic assignment and although the place is being renovated for the tourist season, we were treated great and the food was amazing. Great menu, great food, huge portions.

Might give it another try this summer then...last time was like a bad comedy sketch.

We were the only 2 people in for lunch and the staff were all talking about this horrible stomach bug they all had.

Not the most alluring of dining experiences.
