Default A view of Dunnet Bay

The sea, entranced holds my eye,
The spume and spray fly high.
White horses rear against the sky.
Will crash upon the shore bye and by.

Above the gulls wheel and cry,
Runs the redshank and the dunlin shy,
    Oyster catchers their plumage try
To shake, to preen, keep dry.

    Now the skuas upward fly
Takes the gannet's hard caught fry.
With rage the robbed birds cry
And dive again like arrows from on high.

Did I hear a grey seal sigh?
Was that an otter pottering by?
Will the crow the tasty flotsam try?
Will the eiders pass me by?

All of this and more I spy.
But I must close my streaming eye.
The wind born salt has made me cry.
Time to say until another day, good bye.

    Default Poem

I can hear, and smell and see your beautiful 'picture'
Who needs a camera when you can describe it so well !

It's time for me to say Goodbye too !
    Till next time -

    Trinkie
