Thread: Stormy photos of Caithness

    Default Stormy photos of Caithness

In the March issue of Photography Monthly you will find two images of mine that I took in the past summers, alongside with another 5 that I shot in other places of Scotland.
The article (not mine)tell you of what to look out for when trying to shoot great stormy cloud scenes.
Although I wished they would have used more Caithness photos I am very pleased, that they chose so many of my stuff yet again. I have even managed to get my first ever cover photo on a magazine (small photo though)

Those are the two photos of Caithness that the editor liked best...

I am sure you will have many more photos on front covers in the years to come. Congratulations on your publications. Wonderful photos as usual.

The corn phot is best and it would look good as an embossing or if it could be done in 3D. You can almost run your hands through that corn. Very well done for getting them into a magazine. Does this mean that you are now a 'cover girl'?

The corn image reminds me of one of my favourite movie directors - Ridley Scott (in this particulat case - "Gladiator" - You know the bit where he's running his hands throught the corn field . . . .)
