Sig problems

I have noticed rather large sigs on posts.
Have tried to put a sig on my CP but it NEVER allows me.
But I have noticed people with Sigs bigger than the limit(over 40k), even though I have shrunk and resized to make it fit the Org never lets me.
Anyone any ideas how some can and some cant??????

Edit Signature
Then I treat it as if I were writing a post
