Again, fabulous skys/landscapes Raven.
Are all these type of shots multi-photo merged and typically how many images do you use in each if so?
I am sure there must be millions of photos of Dunnet beach slumbering on your harddrives. I at least must have hundreds, if not more...:-)
Here I make a start with two of mine...

Yep, all of them are stitched up together. Well, you I use anything from two to 10 images (more than that and my ram wont cope anymore with saving)
(getting a new machine with quadruple the memory next week)
It really depends on the scenery though and the format you want it to be but on average I would say I use about 8 pics...

Nothing so clever from me unfortunately.... found this on my hard drive, taken in August 07.
Good one Isis! I was on the beach last year too as this weird fog came up. It was so strange running arround in T-Shirts and then being surrounded by fog all of a sudden...
I`ll post one when I can find it ;-)

Raven, thanks for sharing the info. This is an area i've not explored much, (did some merges of Thurso once while up on a big cherry picker when photographing a building development for a 3D modelling job I was working on - was a pig to get all the houses to align seemlessly!!) but I love the results your getting. Great work

OK since I will never live up north again probably I can give away my moneymaking scheme - you need to get some pics of Dunnet beach and get them printed onto some T-shirts along with the legend.....
Been There - Dunnet
Sell them to the tourists at the caravan site and in the pub....
Maybe someone can make up a photoshop deal that I can finally get printed on a T-Shirt as I have been talking about this for more than 10 years.... ;o)
In mitigation Mr Bruce de Wert said his client had been drinking and could remember little of the incident.
