    Love the photos, especialy of the old church in castletown. Looks very spooky but nothing there but rooks,pidgeons and an owl! Seeing buildings like this always makes me wish I had the money or oportunity to renovate them, picturesque as they are.

    Know what you mean Twiglet; it is such a shame that lovely buildings are allowed to get so dilapidated until latterly they have to be pulled down. Mind you, so many of them are listed and the owners cannot afford to renovate them making for ludicrous stalemate.

    "The powers that be" should provide the finance for same if they insist on making buildings listed; after all, they are supposed to be preserving them for future generations....

    Yes I agree there Torvaig. Otherwise there will be nothing for future gens too see if all thats left is a pile of stones. Very sad.

    @ Dusty, that was somewhere going up Braemar?? Dont take this for granted as this is an old shot :-)

    @ Sandra, yep, the 2009 one is in the making and almost finished already. I would advise to get into touch early enough :-)
