Flashchat Problems

Hi Just a couple of questions about the chat - recently experienced quite a few problems when entering chat room with things being changed ie my background, text colour, etc would be different to what I set. For a while it was quite difficult to sort but everthing ok except my text colour is always white when I sign in and I have to change it. No-one else in there seems to have this problem. Other thing is I can pop into chat thinking there is no-one there but suddenly find another name in the room when I get there but this person may not even be online - so does your name get stuck there if you don't sign out? Just curious - thanks in advance.
