Does a message come back to you if you send someone a pm and their pm box is full?

it tells you when you try to send it.

Unfortunately that means you have already typed the bloomin' thing (perhaps at length) and have no facility to save it...so you have to do it all again..without any way of knowing if the person has corrected the situation or if the next one will meet the same fate.

Very frustrating!

You could always highlight and copy the text then paste it into a wordprocessor file for saving and sending later once they've emptied their PM box...

When that happens I change the address and send the message to myself and it sits in my PM box for awhile. When the overly popular orger has cleared some space I forward the message along to her/him.
