Yeah just missed on one by couple of quid but most come untested and don't fancy buying from China.

yeah found few sites that had listed but when went to buy didn't have any. Asus discontinued a while ago and can still fetch up to £90, got mine for £51 so if good will be a decent buy. Will keep the old FX-60 going for a little while yet :-)

Well power/reset functions working intermitently from case buttons and from keyboard/wake functions (tried Asus's fixes for this fault but none worked) can take 15 mins to get switched on even from standby, loses network connection when switched off or to standby and have to reconnect cable to get up and running again. And having USB connection problems as I've adapted for water cooling doubt if Asus will repair under warranty but I'll try once have new board in place. Never know unless you ask.

    lol, not a bad list.

I would be swayed into thinking your psu might be at fault have you checked the voltages with a multimeter when powering up etc

Haven't checked voltages but will do once/if kids give me peace, the power up fault is a known one with the board and power button reset, CMOS reset or swapping ram modules can clear but majority have to go back. Hence my thinking board faulty.

Volts were bang on the money at post worst being 0.25% out (12v being 12.03v) even allowing for multimeter error is pretty much perfect. And similar results for boot, windows startup, idle & load.

Ahh if only everything in life was as reliable as a Seasonic S12-600 Least I gave internal rad a clean while mucking about with it, was thick wi dust!

    Talking That's better

Put refurb board in last night and working perfectly only hitch was no sound but that was down to FP audio connector jumpers missing. My other concern as HDDs are in RAID and would have to reload windows etc didn't materialise, even though replaced with same model mobo you never know.
