Default Long Exposures - Let's get arty!!

Just wondered if anyone had played with their camera with a long exposure and deliberately thrown the camera about!! You can get some interesting results (I started with christmas tree lights by mistake one day).

This image is of some coloured stage lights

This image is of the lights on an audio mixing desk

Try using ISO100 in a low lighting situation (normally ISO100 would be for a bright daylight shot). You want the shutter to stay open for about 1/3 to 1 second. The rest is how fast you move the camera about etc (lots of trial and error) It can be very it or miss and strong lights in a dark setting help.

    What camera do you use?

The site that it is from has some pretty good quality images. I don't know whether to be inspired or be dejected.
