    Default Harrow Wool Mills

Does anyone reading this have any information concerning the Harrow Wool Mills a weaving mill in Huddard Street, Wick. My maternal grandmother, Catherine (Katie) Lyall nee More worked there and lost her right arm in an accident working at a pressing machine there when she was in her teens in May 1904. I believe that my grandfather Henry Lyall also worked there for some time.
I am not sure when the mill closed but it later became the venue for the local Scout troop.

Your best bet is The Wick Society who run the Heritage Centre in Bank Row. There are links on Caithness.org. They could even have photographs of staff and buildings.
