    Default Gannets

I saw 6 gannets diving for food in Sandside bay yesterday.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

I was watching a pair out to Portskerra on Sunday, they were being harassed by an Skua, made a very interesting ballet.

There have been plenty on the outskirts of Thurso bay these last few weeks, especially if it is choppy. Hundreds one day last week, (Sunday I think)

Loads of Gannets pass by the Trinkie. I see probably hundreds every day during the summer. I was out there yesterday and there was still a steady stream of them passing. Lots of Great skua too.
