pay the kids a small sum of money for each 1 they collect each day it will keep them busy and it is a good incentive and a good game to get rid of them as you are trying to go organic if i remember right!

does anyone know of a sure fire way of getting rid of caterpillars.........they have just decimated our broccoli and are working their way to the cauliflower! you would think a plague of locusts have just landed!!!!!!!!!!

i could try that, if ican convince the kids to pick them up.they dont like wriggly things...we are totally organic, the veg tastes wonderful,and we have fat catterpillars to prove it....
