Scottish Socialist Youth summer camp Weekend 12-15th August.

It’s only 2 weeks now until SSY’s first ever summer camp in the Fife hills. This is an event for young people from around Scotland for a weekend of Political discussion and fun in the Great Outdoors.

We’re also going to have a giant marquee, sound system, bonfire, barbeques and even a waterslide!

The opening rally is 8pm on Friday 12 August, and we will be leaving at 12noon on Monday 15 August. Campers can arrive and leave at any times between.

The nearest train stations are Markinch and Ladybank, and the nearest bus station is Glenrothes.

Everyone will need to bring a tent and food, although there will be some food for sale over the weekend. BYOB.

Sorry, but this lot come only marginally above suicide bombers on my xmas card list. Anyone who willingly lets their kids join in needs their head examined!

Well

I think that anything thatcaptures kids and creates and interest in Politics is a good thing. SSP arent scary or anything and good luck to them - id sooner let my kids off to this than a "young conservative" carry on any day of the week.

Sorry Squidge I can't agree, young minds (older ones as well) can be manipulated. I am sure the current Pope looks back fondly on his Hilter Youth days
