kick-off at Kessock Park is 2 p.m so that Thurso FC players can make Lee MacDougall's wedding reception. see story from P&J below.

    THURSO HIT BY WEDDING PLANS

    08:50 - 31 August 2007

Thurso will be missing some players for their match with Inverness City at North Kessock tomorrow.

The North Caledonian League leaders will be without Lee MacDougall, who is getting married. Team-mates Graham Reid and Kevin Miller will be at the ceremony. The Vikings have also been granted an early kick-off so that the rest of the team can make it back in time for the reception.

Thurso will also be without Jamie MacKenzie, who suffered a head knock last week against Invergordon, and Willie Steven, who scored a hat-trick in the same game.

City will be minus Barry Graham and Colin MacLean who are both on holiday, but do not have any injury worries.

Golspie Sutherland face new boys Muir of Ord Rovers at King George V Park, while joint leaders Halkirk United travel to Balintore.

    TOMORROW'S FIXTURES

LEAGUE - Balintore v Halkirk United (3pm), Bunillidh Thistle v Invergordon (3pm), Dornoch v Alness United (3pm), Golspie Sutherland v Muir of Ord Rovers (3pm), Inverness City v Thurso (2pm).
