    Default For Sebs...

A great big soppy four-legged pal
As faithful as a friend could be
On walks amongst the trees and fields
Along the beach, and in the sea

And in our memories for aye
Great wagging tail, big slavering tongue
Goes racing through the grassy park
At more of a gallop than a run

You life was gifted to us and
Although a dog, no less than one
    Of family:

    Sebs, where e’er you are
    Keep galloping and having fun

I'll miss my old mate too,
For he was bigger that life .
A heart so warm and true,
    Despite he caused some strife!

No more the giant paws will crush me toes,
    No more his snores reverberate,
No more the slobbers on me clothes,
It made no matter, he was great.

Goodbye my pal, thanks for the time we shared,
    For being what you were,
Will mind the times on sand we raced,
You with the wind blown fur.

Thanks to both of you, very moving and very descriptive of the big slobbering softie.

With both of yours kind permission I will print these out to add to a cross stitch at a later time.

Thanks again. We really miss him

Changi and Mr Changi, only met Seb the once, and when he sat on my feet, he got my instant attention, will have fond memories of him even if our meeting was a short one.

He he Golach, 12st on your toes has that effect , think yourself lucky, he decided to sit on my knee one day, needless to say he didn't get to stay there long.

I hope no one minds but I have moved this from literature to pets corner as it is an ode to a very dear, but recently departed furry family member

Oh Changi, I'm sorry to hear that your boy has gone. I cried when I read the lovley tributes.
