Default Just because I like this photo - Scrabster Harbour in the fog

We came back to Scrabster from a day off the coast on Teal. The best visibility all day had been about 100m. When we made our approach to Scrabster it sort of loomed out of the mist. It made a great end to the day....

Atmospheric. That was the word I was after. It was a bit late at night for me and I could not think of the description that I wanted to use to describe the photo.

It was very thick mist, closed in, peaceful and very quiet. It's a shame we had to come in.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

    Hello again Tugmistress.

I love your photo too, psyberyeti. It looks like it could be the opening scene for a scary movie!

Very atmospheric indeed, and the rippling texture of the waves is a good contrast to the ethereal texture of the mist. Well done!
