I am trying to locate any relatives or information on the late Patricia Campbell who lived in Coronation Place, Thurso whose mother was Margaret Swanson. Thank you.

Morning James. She would have been born in the early 1900s and as far as I know she died about 10 - 15 years ago in the local hospital. I don't have much to go on I'm afraid but I remember her attending her mother's funeral in Forres in the 1970s- it's the usual story of anyone who would have known her has now left us. thanks again.

I have a Coronation Place in Castletown which is right close to Thurso - is that the place you have in mind?
Also, is it Forres - http://www.forresweb.net/
    or Forrs - http://www.caithness.org/atoz/forss/index.htm

I'm sure you mean Forss but wanted to clarify.

I expect to be passing the Castletown location this evening by coincidence.

    James.

James, her mother (my gt grandmother) was born in Thurso but died in Forres (Moray).
Scunner, I'll have to make a phone call to my mum and try and eek out some more info from her to see if she knows what her husband's name was. I'm just interested to know if there are any family up in your area so I can include them in my research.
    Thank you both. Sonia

    Thumbs up Success!

    James and Plumber
Thank you both for all your help. My mum has just come back from her holidays so I've gleaned a bit more info from her. Plumber has put me in touch with a grandson which is fantastic. I'll update you with how things go! Thanks again!!

Seeing as we did so well on my last query, we'll try another!
I'm seeking any relatives of Elizabeth Simpson Milne and John McPhail Sinclair who were married in The Temperence Hotel, Princes Street, Thurso in 1929. His occupation is down as Master Mariner so not sure if Merchant Navy or Fisherman.
