Default HP Laser po printer problems with Windows 11

I have a HP 1020Laser printer which has worked fine all the time I have had it.
However, I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and now it wont print!
I searched HP website for a W11 driver but none were shown
I contacted HP Support and they advised me that my printer is not compatible with W11
Someone suggested adding printer manually and using Vista driver but this did not work
    Any suggestions anyone?

That link leads me to a page about Windows 10, and I am unable to view the two comments.
My printer does work with Windows 10, but not with Windows 11

To answer your question -- YES, it is compatible with Win10 -- but you must use the HP software and drivers, not the one supplied by Microsoft.

Here is the drivers and software page for your printer: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/.../model/3329726

You need to download and install the Full Feature Software and Drivers for the printer.

Remove any drivers and software that Microsoft installed for the printer.

then disconnect and reconnect the printer but only when prompted

Do not reconnect the printer until the installer prompts for it.

After the install is done, reboot.

You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.

    Good Luck

    its says..........

you should be able to get it working.
its just the driver for the USB port thats causing you the issues.

use something like glary utils to remove everything HP first.
