New Tarmacadam (the sea is smoother)

The new tarmac on the Dunnet to Bower & the Wick to Thurso vea Watten is a ruffer than a badger's arse. (Who is in charge of quality control ?) The contractors need a lesson on laying tarmac, also for f##k sake get of your backsides and do the job within in a respectable time, better still give the job to the boys from Lybster (not gunna mention the company name best SMOOTH roads team in the Highlands.)

I think the Highland Council are in panic mode and have got the roads team going about patching up the roads for the tourists, who they know will not put up with all the sh1t we are expected to.

Yes the roads are being repaired but as you say what about the quality of repair and how long will the repairs last ?

The monumental task of sorting out the dangerous roads in Caithness is now too large for the Roads Team and their limited resources. The Highland Council needs to get a task force of quality contractors in to do the work quickly and properly so they don't have to keep going back to rework the repairs.

Unfortunately this will not happen until The Scottish Government recognise the crisis in Caithness and provide the emergency funding required.
