Default Star Billiard Hall Lower Dunbar Street, 1930s - any info?

    Hi all,

Whilst doing a search for Lower Dunbar Street in the Johnston Collection's website to see if anything might pop up, I came across this picture of what looks to be 'Star Billiard Hall' but I can't find any record of it online.

Can anyone help give any more details about the Hall e.g. where it stood, what happened to it, who owned it, use, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Creid.

    Hi
Can remember being told many years ago (over 65 years ago) when lived in Breadalbane and going up and down Black Stairs frequently there had been a billiard (not snooker as that was American) hall where the Youth Club is now
