    Default Wares

    Hi Tricia,
    Terrific information; thank you.
I am not (that I know of at this time) related to this Wares family but my GGGG grandfather was Alexander Wares (married to Jane Bremner), via their daughter Jane/Jean born about 1793. She married James Bruce in 1813.
I've been sorting through Wares in CAI to see if I can trace and siblings for Jane/Jean Wares. Since mine were in Latheron and yours in Hempriggs, I see no likely link for now, but all information is potentially useful at some point ;-)
