Pentland Housing Association is a dynamic rural Housing Association engaged in a range of housing services. Formed by tenants and residents in January 1994 we provide a range of housing solutions across Caithness, including development, special needs, Care & Repair and a Handyperson scheme. We also have a very active subsidiary company Pentland Community Enterprises.

We now wish to recruit the following member of staff -

Handyperson Technician – (full time) – TAS Grade 3: (£21,154 -£22,073)

We are seeking to recruit a full time Handyperson Technician whose task will be to administer the Handyperson delivery service in Caithness and nearby areas. We are looking for a flexible, self motivated individual who can work alone and is empathetic to the needs of older and disabled people. Stock control and cleaning of equipment are essential elements of this post, as is the monitoring and maintenance of Social Services adaptation equipment, as well as the delivery and demonstration of use to identified clients.
The successful candidate will be required to submit an enhanced Disclosure Scotland application.
The post is funded by the Highland Council and continuation of the post depends upon ongoing funding.
