    Default TV Licensing

Since I sadly need to pay for my licence again I did it online as can't be bothered with all the paper. All went well, then received an email confirming which included
"Did you know you can view, manage and pay for your TV Licence online? Simply visit https://tvlicensing.co.uk/yourlicence " !

Excuse me, what do you think I just did?

Wondered that. If you view online it asks - who is going to say they don't have one? Days of vans going round are long gone.

They can't "detect" anything. They rely on door knockers frightening you into buying one. They have NO legal powers at all, they need a warrant to enter your home. You can literally tell them to go F themselves on you're doorstep, and close the door.
