BOAT STOLEN FROM CASTLEHILL HARBOUR
in the last few days
The boat belongs to Brough Bay Association and was awaiting transport to Brough
It was donated to BBA by Sinclair Coghill as it was his fathers boat who fished from Brough in the waters of the Pentland firth for Salmon Lobsters, Crabs & Cod etc. Sinclair bought the boat new in 1966.
It was destined to be displayed at Brough harbour with an information panel as per the artists impression below.
The boat is an important part of the history of Brough and the Association would like it returned
If you have any information please let us know
Thank you

BOAT RECOVERED
Sea Mew was returned to Brough last night with a police escort.
We wish to give a particular thanks every one who helped in locating and recovering the boat.
Also thanks to the many people who spread the word and kept an eye out for the boat. It was greatly appreciated.
The boat will be stored for the winter then in the spring be prepared for display at Brough Harbour with an information panel
Thanks again.
