Would knock the north coast 500 of its step and be a huge benefit in the cash generated over a week or ten days . If the community are happy with the influx its should be a goer . If England are pushing for a race ,surely the Black Isle is on a winner as you don't need a boat to get there. We mapped out a route 8 years back and there's only a few areas that would need help with . Maybe some one in the know would pick it up and run with it . Here's hoping.

Could you not get all the motorhomes to enter it? Get them off the A9 and other north roads, where they seem to take great pleasure in holding all us who live in the north off our daily travels and business. If the motorhomes were all safely going round and round the Black Isle, the rest of the roads would be a lot safer.

The way some of those motor homes are running around you would think their already practicing . For those buying their North Coast 500 booklet there must be a page that's has spelling errors. It's should have said "come see the highlands coos ,not come fill the highland with your poos" . The NC500 is now better known as the Skitter Run ,follow the paper trail.
I know that Caithness has one of the biggest BOGS in Europe but this camper van carry on needs sorted. I'll bog off now.

I think you’ll find the majority of motorhome owners are responsible and don’t crap all over the place, their vans have toilets which can go a few days before needing to be emptied. I’d say the culprits are those doing the NC500 by car/motorbike/bicycle, who don’t have toilet facilities, and go wherever it’s convenient, and also leave their rubbish behind.

This would be a huge undertaken you would have to get so many orginisations on board from the council to police, ambulance , fire brigade then marshels . health n safety consultants for riders to make sure they have all the safety equipment and their bikes are safe. Would it be great hell yes for the local community but can it be done not sure and you have to get the backing from the community.
