We are currently looking to recruit Care at Home workers and Homelink Support Work staff, as we continue to grow our care services.
We are looking for Support Workers to join our Homelink team to deliver services throughout the Caithness area, either part time for 21 hours over 3 or 5 days, a 30-hour post over 4 days or 36 hours over 5 days. We occasionally work weekends or evenings.

We are also looking for Care at Home staff who will work in the Wick area only to either work mornings between 7.15am and 2.30pm or 3.30/4.00pm to as late as 10.00pm. We are happy to stick to always evenings, always mornings and a mix of shifts, to provide flexibility.

We are looking for staff who want to make a difference in their community. Staff who are highly motivated and have a commitment to helping people with their needs and demonstrate patience, compassion, warmth and show kindness at all times are encouraged to apply. Staff will work to a high standard, following procedures and providing quality care to our service users. Our care at home service users are all coping to stay in their own homes with the additional support we provide. We provide a service that allows them to live as independently as they can, with our support.

Our Homelink service users are diverse and include mild learning disabilities, mental health issues, drug and alcohol support, and dementia. We have a wide range of expertise within our team, and service users are matched up with staff who will support them to live as full a life as they can.

We will provide comprehensive training and support to candidates to allow them to develop a career in the care sector. We promote and support staff to complete their SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
You will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of taking up your role and we can support staff to do this.

A full driving licence and daily access to a car with business insurance is required. Mileage is paid at 40p per mile for all mileage.

Starting pay for these posts is 9.30 per hour.
