Greetings from Australia. I’m looking for local help!

I’m looking for information on Murray Swanson Munro (1922-1945) and his son David.

Murray’s father was David James Munro, his mother Elizabeth Tait Munro (nee Cormack). Murray had an older brother David Cormack Munro born in Bilbster, Wick in 1913.

Murray was born 1922 (registered in Wick) and married Margaret Reid Munro (nee McKay) (born c1913) in 1942 in Blythswood, Glasgow. He was in the RAFVR, was in Bomber Command (630 Squadron) and was killed in a plane crash in April 1945 over Leipzig.

Murray is memorialised on the War Memorial at Ackersgill and Hempriggs Estate.

Murray and Margaret had a son David, who is mentioned on Murray Munro’s headstone in the Berlin War Cemetery.

In 1945 David and Elizabeth Munro lived in Roadside, Tannach, Wick.

My uncle was the pilot on the plane in which Murray, and 3 other crew members were killed, and I am working on a project looking at the families of this plane.

I’m hoping that someone may have heard of the story of Murray, or know Murray's son David - I expect to have been born between 1942 and December 1945/Jan 1945 and so would now be in his mid 70’s.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Thanks
