Tracing a couple who got married at the Clett Hotel back in the thirties, I believe it was Traill Street, but where exactly was the Clett Hotel on Traill Street Thurso.
Any help most welcome.

Little miss breezy breeks, many thanks for your reply, unfortunately I am not on Facebook, but thanks again for the reply
I think it was on the corner above Georgesons solicitors so probably about No 21 or 23. Georgesons was previously the Highland Bus office and above DE shoe shop were offices for General Accident Insurance. Rooms were hugh and reminiscent of Hotel from Victorian times.
Making tomorrow`s memories today
As it happens someone did ask on there and here is a reply from it....Hope it helps..........
Traill Street, Thurso. "The first three premises on the left hand side of the street belonged to Walter Budge, the first store known as the "The Corner Shop". Next to this was Russell & Leslie's newsagents, bookshop and stationers. The next shop I can't remember but it was followed by Anderson, clock and watchmakers and then the Clett Hotel. Next was the bank, Anderson's ironmongers and William Cumming's chemists."
And heres a great site for all things Thurso.
