Are you interested in being part of the East Sutherland Integrated Health & Social Care Team, based in a small friendly community hospital, with excellent rehabilitation facilities, in the seaside village of Golspie. You would be working in a picturesque area of the Highlands, where there are local shops, schools and opportunities for outdoor activities, such as walking, cycling, water-sports, golf and crofting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to lead our domiciliary and pulmonary rehabilitation service as part of our integrated team.

The successful applicant will work as part of the multidisciplinary team and will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of both older and younger adults with complex needs, dealing with a range of medical, neurological, respiratory and orthopaedic conditions and Falls Prevention. The main focus will be on providing home based rehabilitation and pulmonary rehabilitation to maximise independence and promote self management, but will also involve providing inpatient cover as required in our two rural hospitals. The successful applicant will be required to hold a degree/honours degree in physiotherapy or equivalent and have relevant post graduation experience in neurological and elderly rehabilitation.

A driving licence is essential and a pool car will be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes in the short-term if required.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37.5 hours per week.
