A vacancy exists within our busy organisation as a Handyperson. This is a full time post providing advice, assistance and support for a small works repairs service within the community.

The successful application will provide a Handyperson service to older people and people with disabilities within the Caithness area. Identify and carry out those small repairs and improvements required within the homes of elderly, frail and disabled clients. They will liaise with Personnel from health, social work, housing and other appropriate information and advice agencies as required to achieve the aims and objectives of Handyperson Services.
They will also be required to contribute to the general development and wider activities of the Association as a member of the staff team and to act at all times in the best interests of the Association.

The post holder is required to perform any other duties as may reasonably be required by the needs of the business, including but not limited to the provision of holiday and absence cover for colleagues.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week) and an excellent remuneration package, including a salary pension scheme and 31 days annual leave plus 9 days public holiday is on offer. Funding for this project is on a year to year basis.
