Caithness Voluntary Group in partnership with Pulteney Peoples Project and Thurso Community Development Trust have secured funding from the aspiring Communities Fund to recruit a part-time project co-ordinator for 21 hours to work with three new development officers in Caithness to support those in our most deprived and fragile areas. This post is an ideal opportunity for someone with a proven track record in working in the Community Sector.

This post will support the Officers who will engage with the community and develop plans and projects to tackle inequalities working in partnership with the Community Planning Partnership. The overarching purpose will be to support local action and activity which reduces socio and economic disadvantage. The role will provide line management and support to the Development Officers, developing individual work plans and monitoring them against the overall project milestones. They will also lead on the development of evaluation, legacy planning and reporting for the project.

The person must be flexible as night time and weekend work will be required to fulfil the post.

This post is for a fixed term of one year and will be based in Telford House in Wick.
