We are now recruiting for a Service Manager to be based at one of our largest Offshore windfarms, Beatrice. The location of this role is Wick and we require candidates to be living within a 30 mile radius. Alternatively, you will be willing to relocate to the local area
About the role
What are my responsibilities?
As Service Manager you will lead a Zero Harm EHS culture at the site. You will manage safe, timely and profitable provision of services provided by Siemens on site. You will have overall responsibility for performance against contracts held with customers; management of field resources, site supervisors and Service Coordinators as required to achieve/exceed service provision set out within customer contracts.
You will ensure the delivery of services on an operational level with respect to process adherence, service quality, and profitability. You will also be the primary interface at site for commercial activity. You will implement workforce development measures and be the primary escalation contact to customers and resolves issues with external and internal stakeholders.
The Service Manager Responsibility for driving correct performance of Siemens team on site (HSE, Quality, Costs) Effective management of Wind Farm under warranty and maintenance contract. You will also manage first line commercial elements of the contract with the customer at site. You will escalate complex commercial matters and effective communication of issues to all stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for maintaining timescales of planned maintenance activities; create daily, weekly and monthly work plans for site teams as required and maintain service schedule tracking for management information (KPIs)
About you
What do I need to qualify for this job?
This role requires someone with proven experience in an operations role and in a managerial position. You must have had responsibility for a large team of technicians and be able to manage the day to day issues with ease. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
The ideal candidate will need to have customer focus and be able to demonstrate a commercial understanding. You must be able to understand large and complex contracts and have a customer focus.
You will be able to work and interact with a wider remote team across the business when required. Some technical knowledge is required to be able to support the team effectively.
Lastly, you will be someone with excellent communication skills, and a tenacious individual with a passion for the renewable industry.
