COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST (BAND 7)

(Salary 32,974 - 43,471)


We are seeking a qualified cognitive behaviour therapist to join our busy mental health services in the far North of Scotland.

You will be delivering CBT to adults of working age, experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of mental illness and/or trauma. You will hold a core relevant professional qualification to degree level or equivalent and through relevant experience and training you will possess the clinical expertise and skills which enable you to work effectively as a qualified CBT therapist. There will be evidence of ongoing professional development and the successful applicant will be eligible for accreditation with BABCP. In addition you will be required to supervise and support other clinical staff i.e. guided self help worker, CBT students and other mental health practitioners undertaking behavioural and /or cognitive interventions.

The post is based in Caithness and service is predominantly delivered locally however a degree of flexibility is required as currently one day a week is delivered in Sutherland. A current driving licence is essential as is initial access to own car for work purposes however a lease car will be offered. A relocation package may be available for the successful candidate.

This is a permanent, full-time post of 37.50 hours per week to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
