Maintenance Technician

Salary dependant on experience.

Reporting to the Production Manager the Maintenance Technician will provide an effective maintenance and repair service throughout the company.


Carry out routine and planned preventive maintenance for all company process machinery and equipment
Fault finding, minor repairs and problem solving on all company machinery and equipment
Create and maintain maintenance logs and schedules
Liaise with external contractors as required and assist them while on site
Maintain and procure maintenance supplies as required
Experience working with heavy manufacturing equipment
Experience in a manufacturing, production environment
Set up of new equipment
Carry out repairs within the building
Any other reasonable duties or project work which may be requested by management

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

Working within a manufacturing environment
Working with heavy plant and production equipment and machinery
Experience of COSSH Awareness and Risk assessments

Person Specification;

Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Be self-motivated and plan own schedules
Computer literate
