    Based in Thurso
    Full Time - 37.5 hours
    Hours of work 0800 - 1700 Monday - Thursday, 0800 - 1230 on Friday
    Salary dependant on experience

    The Role

    The Customer Services & Scheduling Manager will be required to carry out any of the functions noted below dependant on business requirements. Infrequent travel between the Thurso site and our customers may be required.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Liaison between Oxford based sales team and the Thurso Operations and Engineering teams.
    • Co-ordination and management of the quote/bid process to ensure that customer requests are responded to in a timely manner.
    • Management of all customer orders on the company’s MRPII computer system
    • Understanding of export control regulations.
    • Administration of export control.
    • Provision of reports on customer orders and customer service levels.
    • Acknowledgement of customer orders, ensuring that the Company’s contract review procedures are adhered to.
    • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints.
    • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to satisfy the current planned level of sales.
    • Make decisions and/or recommendations on anything which may affect the business’s ability to meet customer delivery dates.
    • Management of the warehouse team ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of warehoused goods.

    • Educated to degree level (Business degree preferable)
    • Customer Focused
    • Team Player
    • Team management experience
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills at all levels across the business
    • Ability to chair meetings involving senior management, engineers and operators
    • Excellent computer skills, in particular, excel and word. Knowledge of an MRP II system and SharePoint would be an advantage
