    Mackays Hotel, Wick is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping department.
    The Housekeeping Supervisor role will involve working closing with the Managers and Owners, to supervise and work closely as a part of a team, with the successful candidate having real attention to details and they must work well under pressure.

    As a Housekeeping Supervisor your Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Ensuring cleanliness and checking guest accommodation, to ensure it is comfortable, clean and attractive, according to agreed standards.
    • To conduct checks of rooms and public areas and discuss any defects with the Duty Manager.
    • To work with Management and Heads of Departments to assist in carrying out any special requirement or duties necessary to add to guests general comfort and enjoyment/
    • To carry out Floor Supervisor duties when required.
    • Regular checks of rooms and sundry areas for hotels standard of maintenance and cleanliness, recording checks and compiling reports of checks to be discussed with Manager.

    The ideal Housekeeping Supervisor should have:

    • Previous experience, although full training is provided.
    • Good communications skills
    • A positive and energetic nature
    • Experience in people management
