    whoo-hoo Apache helicopter low-level crossed overhead southeastbound towards Wick airport. 1620 local time.

    Two passed very low overhead about same time, looked to be heading for Groats or Duncansbay.

    Noisy visitation, from the Angels of Death , but I would loved to have seen these amazing machines swooping down across the wide Caithness sky.
