As the Director, you will lead and implement strategic and corporate objectives in line with the Highland Council’s Priorities and Values. You will lead the Service to achieve improvements in performance and value for money to citizens. The Care and Learning Service is responsible for: Education; Children’s Services; Additional Support Needs, Criminal Justice; Commissioning of Adult Services from NHS Highland and Monitoring of Services provided by Highlife Highland.

The Highland Council has a comprehensive relocation package which may be available to the successful candidate.

Prior to confirming appointment, we will require the successful candidate to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
