Morson Projects currently have a requirement for a number of Decommissioning Operators at our Client’s facility at Dounreay.

You will be required to operate Process Plant and Waste Handling Equipment in support of our Clients Decommissioning Programme. To be successful in this role, you will have a high attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. You will have the right questioning attitude, be able to communicate and work effectively within a team, while having excellent Health, Safety and Environment awareness. You will have a general awareness of Safe Systems of Work and Conduct of Operation. You will also need to have a flexible attitude to work and a willingness to undertake extensive classroom and plant based training.

Following successful completion of all Mandatory Training you will be expected to work shifts on either a two shift (days and backs) or a three shift (days, backs and nights) system.

The Recruitment Process:

Candidates will undertake an interview followed by a problem solving test and maths test.

Candidates will be expected to obtain DV Level Security Clearance and pass a Classified Radiation Worker medical.

An excellent remuneration package is available with enhanced overtime rates and shift allowance.
