    Last time I saw Gypsy Dave was in the newmarket many moons ago but boy was he great, I would sorely love to jam with this guy again, a good friend and excellent blues man.

    One of the best slide players I have ever played with. Isaac did a concert with him in Newcastle a couple of years ago. As far as I know, he lives in that area now.

    last time I saw him he was with his very young (at the time) daughter at the Orange Mobile Festival in Newcastle

    I was killing time before the Daintees gig & we ran into each other on the riverside & the time I saw him vbefore that was in the Live Theatre in Newcastle. He played with Daintees & the support band who's name escapes me. I can tell you the support had Frank Gibbon (Lindisfarne, Jimmy Nail, Alex Harvey Band, Becket) was on bass...........................& hehehehe together with the Gypsy & various others it was a very memorable start to a small tour that ended in horrendous chest infections

    Was down in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago. Am sure I seen a poster advertising one of his gigs at the Tyne bar.
