NHS Highland is leading the way in the creation of a fully Integrated Health and Social Care Service. Our Community Teams are key to the success of this approach.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual who is motivated to lead teams comprising Community Nurses, Social Workers, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Care@Home staff.

This post is responsible for service delivery and development in remote and rural locations. It will be a rewarding task which will allow you to focus staff and resources, avoiding duplication and wasted effort. You will be supported by an organisational structure that is keen to promote change and which values quality of care. The successful candidate will be a qualified Social Worker, Nurse or Allied Health Professional or SSSC registrant with SVQ 4 Health and Social Care and SVQ Leadership and Management for Care Services (LMCS) Level 4.
This is a permanent, full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, job share applicants will also be considered. The work-base for this post is negotiable for the right candidate/s.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for work purposes is essential. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
